For pharmacies

Grow your pharmacy with clinical research.

Dispensing margins keep getting tighter. Clinical research adds paid, professional work that builds on what you already have: pharmacists your patients trust, a private consult area and secure storage. We bring the checklist, the training, the systems and the people. You bring your patients and your team.

What research brings you

New revenue, new skills, and more reasons to choose your pharmacy.

Revenue that isn’t tied to dispensing

Sponsors pay for each piece of study work: screening, visits, dispensing and storing study drug, and data entry. We review the budget, invoice the sponsor and track every payment.

More reasons to choose your pharmacy

Offer patients access to new treatments close to home. People who take part see your team more often, and remember who brought them the opportunity.

A team that grows with you

Good Clinical Practice and study training for pharmacists and technicians, with certificates. New skills and new responsibility for your staff.

A full study team behind you

A physician investigator oversees every study, with a study coordinator and a regulatory specialist supporting your site.

Fits the pharmacy day

Study visits, study drug, temperature logs and reminders in one place, planned around your hours.

Your patients stay yours

Patient records stay with your pharmacy. You decide who to contact.

Your patients’ privacy

You stay in control of your patients’ information.

Here is what happens before anyone hears about a study.

Step 1

Records stay with the pharmacy

Patient records are kept secure and encrypted. Only your pharmacy team can see them.

Step 2

The study doctor checks first

A possible match is reviewed by the study doctor before anyone is contacted.

Step 3

Your pharmacist reaches out

The invitation comes from your pharmacy. Patients can say no at any time.

Step 4

Consent comes first

Patients sign informed consent before their details reach the study team.

Questions

Questions pharmacies ask.

Something else? Talk to our team.

How quickly can a pharmacy become a research site?

It depends on where you start. Our checklist and onboarding team take you through facility, staff, training and regulatory documents step by step, with the aim of being much faster than the usual three to six months to activate a site.

Does it cost anything to join?

No. There is no upfront cost for pharmacies. The sponsors running each study pay for the research work done on it.

What does a pharmacy get paid for?

Sponsor-paid fees for the study work you perform, such as study visits, dispensing and storing study drug, and data entry. Amounts depend on the study.

Who can see patient information?

Your pharmacy team. The study team sees a patient’s details only after that patient consents.

Does every study need a doctor?

Yes. Every study is led by a principal investigator, and in our network that is always a physician. We pair your pharmacy with a physician investigator or a nearby hub clinic, and your pharmacists work on the study team alongside them.
