For patients

A clinical study close to home, with a pharmacist you know.

Clinical studies test new medicines and vaccines before doctors can prescribe them. With ZoraRx Trials, you can take part through your own pharmacy, without long trips to a research center.

Taking part

What taking part is like.

Free to take part

You never pay to be in a study. Many studies pay you back for your time and travel.

Your own pharmacist explains it

Someone you already know walks you through the study and answers your questions.

Visits close to home

At your pharmacy, a nearby clinic or by video, depending on the study.

You decide

Taking part is always your choice, and you can stop at any time.

Your privacy

Your information is protected from the first step.

Your pharmacy stays in control of your records. Here is what happens before anyone tells you about a study.

Step 1

Your records stay at your pharmacy

They’re kept secure and encrypted. Only the pharmacy team can see them.

Step 2

A study doctor checks first

A doctor reviews whether a study might suit you before anyone contacts you.

Step 3

Your pharmacist reaches out

The invitation comes from your own pharmacy. You can say no.

Step 4

Consent comes first

You sign a consent form before your details reach the study team.

Do I have to pay to take part?

No. Taking part is free, and many studies pay participants back for their time and travel.

Can I stop after I’ve started?

Yes, at any time and for any reason. Stopping won’t change the care you get from your pharmacy or your doctor.

Who will see my information?

Your pharmacy team. The study team sees your details only after you’ve agreed to take part and signed a consent form.

How do I find a study?
